Wildlife Overview

Picture
An African Safari is an unforgettable travel experience, it touches something deep within us and it is an experience that will never be forgotten. A trip to Tanzania is both intriguing and exciting, created by the fascinating balance between the wildlife, the landscapes and its people.

Prolific wildlife, dramatic scenery and the thrills of the bush – Tanzania is the epitome of the ultimate African Safari. The big five—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo, and several other species of animals and birds may all be viewed in their natural habitat.

Tanzania’s safaris are divided into three circuits - Northern, Southern & Western Circuits. However, Blue Turaco Safaris concentrates mainly in the most popular Northern Circuit, though we still organize Safaris to all parts of Tanzania. The Northern Circuit of Tanzania comprises of the Serengeti National Park, Ngororngoro Conservation Area, Lake Manyara National Park, Tarangire National Park and Arusha National Park.
